ABOUT CHASEN
Chasen Petcovic tragically passed in his sleep on March 21, 2023 from an undiagnosed, rare heart condition. Hours before, he was playing first base and pitching for the Hopewell Dodgers and celebrated in an after-game party with his baseball team and his Cambridge Bears football team.
Chasen was very well known and loved throughout the community. He had a happy, energetic, larger-than-life personality making an impact on everyone that he interacted with. His passing has left the community devastated.
OUR MISSION
Helping students live life to the fullest through sports
Our mission is to make sports experiences available to everyone through our coach, student, and family programs. We offer coach and student mentoring so that each student-athlete can live for something more than just themselves, and leave a lasting impact on the community around them.
The Live Like Chasen Petcovic Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) public charity that was created in his honor to give back to the community by supporting causes Chasen loved; youth sports, church groups, and various other school programs. Additionally, the foundation will be partnering with other non-profit organizations that provide support and assistance to families that have experienced unexpected life altering tragedies, along with charities that are involved with research, treatment, and diagnosis of heart conditions similar to what Chasen passed from.

Alyx Petcovic's Story
Alyx is Chasen's mom. During his memorial service, she found the courage to share a powerful message of hope, even in the midst of her heartbreak.
